Help your childrendeal with boredom. Utilize the time you have with them to give them the freedom to explore their passions. Don’t micromanage them, but be intentional about being involved in what they’re doing.
Patience and presence are two of the most important things you can focus on as a parent to your children.
Provide resources for them to freely play and learn. Don’t force them to participate. That would work against the freedom and self-control that are central features of learning through life. However, as parents we can provide high quality learning environments, and ensure uninterrupted periods of time for our kids to play and develop.
Here are some tips to help your children deal with boredom.
- Be Creative
- Outside Play
- Read
- Exercise
- Do Something Helpful
