Looking at our life, it may look exciting, exuberant, and even exemplary. However, we would be failing you if this was all you could see.

In reality, we began documenting our journey because it is just that, a journey. We are in the midst of learning to unlearn and there are days when the stress of it all can get really difficult.

Unschooling is simple but it’s not easy. It requires an enormous amount of time, close proximity, and a patience outside of our own power.

Some days feel like massive failures, and occasionally a few feel like some real progress.

We’ve learned to celebrate the smallest baby steps as huge victories. And little-by-little it feels like it begins to snowball in the right direction.
