Our little Imaani is almost always full of joy. She brightens our days by just being herself. One of her favorite things to do is to pretend she’s an animal. Even in public, she’ll start walking on all fours and making all kinds of wild sounds.

Imaani also loves to write. We’ve never formally taught her how to read or write. However, by providing for her an atmosphere of learning, she’s picked it up on her own, and in doing so, developed a love for it. She’ll ask us questions occasionally, but she mostly goes to her big brother for help.

She loves to make sweet little secret notes for people and leave them where they’ll find them later. After hiding the note, she giggles as she scampers away on all fours.
